Tuna and Red Onion Pizza
Pizza dough
-1 thin pizza base
-1,5 cups bread flour
-15 g fresh yeast
-120 ml warm water
-0,5 tbsp sugar
-0,5 tbsp salt
-4 tbsp oil
Pizza Topping - for 1 pizza
-80g can tuna chuncks
-1 small red onion, finely sliced
-15 black olives, seeded
-200 g mozzarella, round slices
-150 g tomatoes cherry,slices on half
-dry oregano
-15 g fresh basil leaves
Directions
1.In a large bowl, mix flour with salt and sugar.
2.Dissolve the fresh yeast in warm water and add to the flour mixture.
3.Add oil and mix everything togheter.
4.Let it sit for about 1 hour at room temperature.
5.Prepare the tomato sauce. In a medium sauce pan heat oil over medium-low heat. 6.Add pureed tomatoes,sugar, garlic powder,oregano, bay leaf salt and pepper.
7.Cook for about 10 minutes.
8.Let cool slightly before using on your pizza.
9.Preheat the oven to 200°C.
10.Shape piece into a ball, then roll out into a circle about 30 cm in diameter.
11.Spread tomato sauce over the dough and sprinkle with oregano.
12.Spread half of the tuna chunks, red onion slices and olives over dough and place half of mozzarella slices on top.
13.Place in the preheated oven and bake until the cheese has melted and edges of crust are golden brown.
14.Garnish with fresh red onion slices and basil leaves before serving.
