Pizza with Jalopeno Peppers
Ingredients
-14 ounces whole peeled tomatoes not including juices
-1 tablespoon Olive oil
-1 teaspoon Dried oregano
-1 teaspoon Dried basil
-1/2 teaspoon Salt
-1/4 teaspoon Ground black pepper
-1 whole Pizza dough
-8 ounces shredded cheese
-Pepperoni
-Jalapeno peppers chopped
Directions
1.Heat oven to 220º. Drain canned tomatoes and puree in a food processor (or blender).
2.Add olive oil, oregano, dried basil, salt and pepper and pulse to combine.
3.Spread sauce over pizza dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edge for the crust.
4.Add the cheese, pepperoni and chopped jalapenos
5.Bake pizza for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and the crust begins to turn golden brown.
6.Remove from the oven. Slice and serve.
